Lonnie Poole Golf Course

About

Lonnie Poole Golf Course sits on the NC State University campus on Main Campus Drive in Raleigh, and it is the only collegiate golf course in the world designed by Arnold Palmer. The layout looks out over the Raleigh skyline.

It is open to the public, with tee times, published rates, package plans, and instruction for players working on their game. The course is named for Lonnie C. Poole, a 1969 NC State graduate who gave the naming gift in 2007 along with his wife, Carol Lynn Poole.
