Lgbt Center of Raleigh

About

The LGBT Center of Raleigh is a community center for LGBTQ people in the Triangle, and it has moved back downtown to East Cabarrus Street. It offers programs, resources, and a place to sit and be around other people, with drop-in hours during the week.

Programming ranges from leadership and advocacy work to social events and fundraisers held around the Triangle. For many people it is simply somewhere to drop in, ask a question, or find out what else is happening in the area right now.

What to know

  • The 2026 LGBTQ+ Public Leadership Summit is built for people weighing public service, advocacy, or a run for office.
  • Drop-in hours can shift with programs, events, holidays, and staff availability.
  • Checking the calendar or social media first confirms the center will be open.
  • The Karma Keg fundraiser is held in Durham, where buying a beer supports the center.
