Lemongrass is a family-run Thai restaurant in a north Raleigh shopping center off Litchford Road, open since 2003 by its own account.
INDY Week readers voted it the Best Thai Restaurant in Wake County in 2025. The menu leans central Thai, and heat is treated as a real decision: the som tum, a green papaya salad with peanuts, chilies, lime and palm sugar, and the duck panang are the two plates the kitchen is known for, with fresh young coconut milk offered to cool them down. The dining room seats groups of thirty or more, and reservations are recommended.
