Knightdale Veterans Memorial
About
The Knightdale Veterans Memorial stands on North First Avenue and is the Town of Knightdale’s tribute to local veterans. Names are engraved into the memorial posthumously, and the list of those honored grows over time.
It is the first veterans memorial in North Carolina to carry both Gold Star and Blue Star status. The Blue Star Memorial that sits here was relocated from the corner of Main Street and First Avenue to join it. The Knightdale Two Green Thumbs Garden Club agreed to handle that move.

- The garden club was instrumental in the site receiving Gold Star status.
- Families can apply to have a veteran memorialized here.
