Joy Worthy Co.

Joy Worthy Co. puts on creative workshops and experiences around the Triangle, with a downtown Raleigh address on South Wilmington Street. Each event is built around one local artist, chef, maker or small business, so the person leading it works nearby.

The events are made for creativity, human connection and good feeling. The company’s hope is that you leave with what it calls a Joy Worthy Moment, a stretch of time where sharing laughter with other people pushes everything else aside. Because the featured maker changes each time, no two events look quite alike.

What to know

• The business started as a daydream the founder had about seven years ago.
• Events are held at locations across the Triangle area.
• The stated goal is for guests to leave with a greater sense of joy, inclusion and inspiration.
• Organizers hope stress melts away while guests share laughter with others.
