ISO ISO is a ramen shop on Oberlin Road near Cameron Village. It is part of a multi-state group with stores in Clemson, Danville, High Point and Jacksonville, and Raleigh carries the company’s full-service format rather than its fast-casual one.
Bowls run $16 to $17. The house bowl is a spicy creamy chicken broth with spiced ground beef, and the rest of the list covers black garlic tonkotsu, a shoyu on chicken broth with braised beef, and a creamy shredded chicken. A $16 vegetarian bowl uses the company’s own vegetarian broth with inari, corn and crispy onions, and there is a shoyu for children. The lot is small and shared.
