Indian Creek Trailhead
About
Indian Creek Trailhead is a Town of Morrisville park on Town Hall Drive beside Town Hall, in the Town Center area between Morrisville-Carpenter Road and McCrimmon Parkway. It doubles as the trailhead for the Indian Creek Greenway.
The park has a fenced playground, two picnic shelters, restrooms, benches, picnic tables, an educational garden, a short walking trail and an on-site parking lot. The greenway follows Indian Creek north from the park and carries historic markers along the way, and the Western Wake Farmers Market sets up in the lot every week.
What to know
- The town’s parks page puts the Indian Creek Greenway at 1.8 miles; the program guide prints 1 mile.
- Shelters rent through the town’s online portal, rain or shine.
- The farmers market is at the trailhead temporarily while the Town Center is built next door.
- Market mornings fill the parking lot, and Town Hall Drive had lane closures for sewer work in August 2026.
