Heyday Brewing

Heyday Brewing is a brewpub in the 5401 North community in northeast Raleigh, off Louisburg Road near I-540. It is the neighborhood’s own brewery, with about a dozen house beers made on site by brewmaster Thorne Watkins and a scratch kitchen in the same building.

The list covers an American lager called Where’s Hoffa?, the hazy IPA Finger Paint, a pale ale named Paper Boy, a helles, a rauchbier, a kölsch and a 9% Belgian strong ale called Hercules! Hercules! Hercules!, with most pints printed at $3 to $8. Weekly taco nights and trivia fill the calendar, and the brewery works with Wake Tech on craft-beer training.
