Gussie’s

Gussie’s is on West Morgan Street in Raleigh, and it works as three things at once: a restaurant, a bar and a bottle shop. The kitchen turns out salads, sandwiches and plates meant for sharing, all of it in the comfort food direction.

The bottle shop is the third piece, with shelves of beer and wine to carry out. That mix makes the place useful for a weeknight dinner and for the stop you make on the way to somewhere else.
