Guru Guitars
About
Guru Guitars is a small vintage guitar shop on Mount Vernon Road in Raleigh. The walls hold used and vintage guitars, amps and gear, and the shop describes the feel as an old school small guitar shop, which is what it is.
Strings, pedals and accessories round out the stock, so a player can come in for a set of strings and stay to try something hanging on the wall. The shop buys gear as well as selling it, which is how the room keeps changing.
What to know
- The shop buys guitars, amplifiers and pedals from individual sellers.
- Entire collections can be sold to the shop at once.
- Repairs are handled in house.
- Lessons are offered for players who want them.
