The Flying Biscuit Cafe in Cary sits at Parkside Town Commons in west Cary and serves breakfast, brunch and lunch all day. The cooking is Southern with a twist, and the company puts its shrimp and grits and its biscuits at the top of the menu.
The cafe opened in November 2023 as the 30th location of the chain, which started in Atlanta in 1993. Franchisee Tahir Rafiq runs it along with the Flying Biscuit cafes in Chapel Hill and Wake Forest, and he has signed a lease for a fourth cafe in north Raleigh.
