Flatlands Insurance Group is a family-owned agency with a Raleigh office on Merton Drive and further offices around North Carolina. It has been placing insurance for families, farmers, and businesses since 1963, and it is still run by the same family.
The lines it writes run from auto and home to life, health, and Medicare, and on to crop, farm, and commercial policies, with employee benefits alongside. The motto is that insurance is complicated and the agency’s job is to make it easy, which fits a firm that spends much of its time explaining farm coverage.
