FatBoys Kitchen

FatBoys Kitchen, which also goes by FatBoys Food Shack, is a Raleigh restaurant on New Bern Avenue that spends a good share of its time out on the road. The kitchen turns up at local breweries, apartment communities, and neighborhood clubhouses around the city, feeding whoever has gathered there.

Catering is a big piece of the business. Reservations at the restaurant can be made online, and much of the cooking happens away from the dining room, at events across the city. It is the kind of operation you may run into somewhere else before you ever visit the address.
