About
Durant Nature Preserve is a 237-acre city preserve at 8305 Camp Durant Road in North Raleigh, with roughly five miles of mostly unpaved trail looping two lakes.
It operated as a Boy Scout camp until the City of Raleigh bought it in 1979, which is why it is far less developed than the city’s other large parks. Closing time changes month to month.
