Drum Team Collective

Drum Team Collective runs corporate team-building events around Raleigh and Wake County. A group learns to play drums and then performs rock songs alongside a professional band, which is louder and more memorable than the usual afternoon offsite.

The company has been doing this since 2018, and it was founded by a working drummer who has played on national television and toured with major acts. What the events are really aimed at is communication, leadership, and the relationships between people who work together. The company describes the result as the thrill of a lifetime.

What to know

• No prior music experience is needed from anyone in the group.
• Events run about ninety minutes from start to finish.
• The format is trademarked as Rock & Roll Team Building.
• The pitch is that every team member has an inner rockstar to find.
