Delightful Baked Goods Co. is a bakery on N. Bloodworth Street in downtown Raleigh, working from scratch and in single batches. What comes out of the oven follows the season and whatever idea the baker is chasing that week, so the case is rarely the same twice.

The range is wide for a small operation. Cookies, brownies and blondies sit beside breads and sourdough, and there are hand pies, muffins, pies, cakes, turnovers, danishes and coffee cakes. Much of it is made to order for one occasion or another.
