Dancing Moon Books and Gifts has been on Wake Forest Road in Raleigh since 2005, and in business since 1990. It is a New Age and metaphysical shop, and one of the largest independent ones in the Southeast.
The shelves hold books and crystals, and there is usually a reader or a healer working. Classes, seminars and events fill the calendar. The staff are used to people walking in curious for the first time as well as customers who have come for years. Readings can be booked with the people who work there.
