Dampf Good BBQ is Texas-style craft barbecue from brothers Nick and Bryce Dampf, based on Good Hope Church Road in Cary and serving the Raleigh area. For now it runs as a pop-up, so where to find it changes from one week to the next, and regulars check the schedule before heading out.
The whole thing grew out of backyard cooking. What started with two brothers figuring out a smoker turned into a business with a following of its own, and they are now working toward a permanent restaurant.
What to know
