Church Street Park

About

Church Street Park is a Town of Morrisville park on Church Street between Morrisville-Carpenter Road and the Cary line, with separate parking lots off Cricket Pitch Way and Church Street. It is best known as the Triangle’s only stadium built for professional cricket, and it has hosted both Major League Cricket and Minor League Cricket matches.

Away from the stadium it is a full neighborhood park. The northern lot has a playground with a tot-lot, three tennis courts, two picnic shelters, outdoor fitness equipment, a walking trail and restrooms. The southern lot has a larger shelter, a multi-sport court, sand volleyball, basketball and cricket practice pitches.

What to know

  • Shelters rent through the town’s online portal, rain or shine, with no refunds for weather.
  • Cricket matches in 2025 were free and open to the public, per the town’s cricket page.
  • The courts, shelters, playground and walking track close to casual use during multi-day cricket series.
  • Overflow parking during cricket events is at Iron Mountain, with a rideshare row in the southern lot.
  • Tennis courts are first come, first served with a one-hour limit when others wait.
