Che Empanadas – Transfer Co. Food Hall

Che Empanadas has a counter inside Transfer Co. Food Hall on East Davie Street in downtown Raleigh. The empanadas come from Anabel’s family recipes, which she first made for family and friends before anyone was paying for them.

Requests for parties and weddings turned that into a catering business, and now there is a counter in the food hall. Everything is handmade and Argentinian style, and the kitchen has been at it in Raleigh for almost twenty years. A food hall stall suits the food, since an empanada travels well in one hand.
