Casa
About
CASA is a Raleigh nonprofit that provides stable, affordable housing for people who have been homeless or who live on very low incomes. Its office is on West Jones Street, and its properties reach across Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and the areas around them.
The organization grew in 1992 out of a Wake County mental health program, built on one belief: homelessness is solved with housing. It has added properties, staff and reach steadily since, and marked thirty years of work in 2022, the year it broke ground on King’s Ridge.
