About
Cary Tutor is a one-on-one tutoring service run by Laurel Archer from Hammock Place in southwest Raleigh. She teaches English and works with English language learners, and lessons are built around each student, whether that student is in school or an adult learning the language.
Archer founded the service in 2010 and has been teaching for more than thirty years, in person and online. Her stated aim is empowering language learners one connection at a time, which is about as good a summary of tutoring as you will find.
