Cary Gallery of Artists
About
The Cary Gallery of Artists is a cooperative on South Academy Street in downtown Cary, run by the local artists who show their work there. Contemporary and traditional pieces share the space, and fine art hangs alongside craft.
The gallery opened in 2005 and has held to the same idea since: original artwork of real quality, at prices ordinary people can pay. Because the artists run the place themselves, it answers directly to the people whose work is on the walls, which is unusual for a gallery.
