Carolina Custom Kitchen and Bath
About
Carolina Custom Kitchen and Bath fabricates and installs stone countertops from a shop on Midway West Road in northwest Raleigh. Gresham Riggs, a Raleigh native, started the business in 2005 after eight years in the construction trades.
It has stayed a family operation as it grew. Jennifer Riggs joined soon after the two married in 2009, and the company now employs more than thirty people. The pitch is a broad selection of surfaces, current surface technology and workmanship meant to last, with one-on-one attention from design through installation.
What to know
- Fabrication was brought in house in 2016, along with CAD, sales, operations and showroom teams.
- Countertops are digitally templated at an appointment before they are cut.
- The same team handles the initial quote, delivery and on-site installation.
- Designers and builders in the area bring their own clients to the showroom.
