Bussin Pizza & Pasta is a family-run pizzeria on Hillsborough Street, minutes from the NC State campus. It calls itself Hillsborough Street’s New York kitchen, and the hand-tossed pies come with a blistered crust.

Two brothers, David and Cruz Moyao, put their hands into everything that leaves the kitchen, and the pasta gets as much attention as the pizza. It is a small place, and the aim is a table people want to linger at. There is patio seating outside, and food goes out by pickup, call-ahead order and DoorDash delivery.
