Bright Side Books & Wine is Raleigh’s only romance bookstore, in a suite on West Cabarrus Street. Susannah owns it, an avid romance reader who spent years wanting a place where love stories take center stage. She is a small business owner as well.
The space is bright and comfortable, with cozy seating and shelves full of happily-ever-afters. There is room to gather, to browse, and to fall into conversation with someone who reads the same things. The shop grew out of a quiet idea during a heart-to-heart with a close friend.
