Bandwidth is a communications company with headquarters on Bandmate Way in west Raleigh. It sells voice, messaging and emergency service APIs to large enterprises, which puts it behind a great deal of calling and texting that other companies’ products do.
The company owns its network, and it reckons rebuilding one like it today would take more than fifteen years and half a billion dollars. Its own shorthand for the problem it solves is global telecomplexity, and its customers are mostly big organizations with complicated communications stacks.
