Atlantic Prime Coastal Kitchen

Atlantic Prime Coastal Kitchen is a seafood restaurant on Main Street in downtown Franklinton from Franko’s Hospitality, the group that also runs Franko’s Italian Steakhouse nearby. Its website says the kitchen brings the best of the Atlantic to North Carolina, with a menu that moves from cold and hot appetizers to fresh-catch entrees built on local ingredients.

Dishes shown on the restaurant’s site include fried calamari, a lobster roll, crab cakes, seared tuna, grilled grouper, seafood stew and scallop ceviche. The bar leans tropical, with the Jungle Bird among its cocktails. Partners Justin Bee, Nunzio Scordo and Keith LoGrande also run Franko’s Prime in Raleigh and Trattoria Franko in Rolesville.
