Aspire Construction

Aspire Construction Management is a commercial general contractor based on East Chatham Street in downtown Cary. The firm offers construction management, consulting, pre-construction services and general contracting, and it works across higher education and K-12 schools, government buildings, corporate offices, and hospitality and entertainment venues.

The company was founded to help building owners have good projects, and its culture starts from the idea that other people’s needs and interests come first. The team brings years of experience to each job, and the motto is let’s build something great.

What to know

• Founder Jason Imhof has spent more than 25 years in the commercial construction industry.
• The idea for the company came in 2001, when a family member took on a healthcare building expansion.
• Imhof watched how hard it was to run a construction project and an organization at the same time.
• The firm points to two industry trends: too few qualified construction managers and increasingly complex projects.
