Anchorlight
About
Anchorlight is an art space on South Bloodworth Street in Raleigh that combines artist studios, residencies, and a gallery in one building. Artists, designers, and craftspeople work there alongside each other, and the arrangement is deliberate: skills and knowledge move between people who share a hallway.
Exhibitions rotate through the gallery, drawn from the resident artists and from people working elsewhere. Mentorship is part of what the studios are for, and the Brightwork Fellowship is run here, with fellows’ work going on display when their year is done.
