Altered State Brewing is a locally run brewery on Garvey Drive in Raleigh, pouring hoppy and hazy IPAs, heavily fruited sours, decadent stouts, and classic lagers. The beers rotate, so the list you find on one visit will not be the list on the next.
It is an easy place to bring people. Families come with children, dogs are welcome, and the patio has umbrellas and fire pits so the outdoor seating works in more than one season. Food is a matter of bringing your own or ordering from next door.
