Alpha School
About
Alpha School is a private K-12 school on Spruce Tree Way in north Raleigh. It teaches through AI-driven, personalized learning, so a student moves at their own pace instead of the pace of a class.
The stated aim is real-world skills that still matter after graduation, and the Raleigh campus was announced as launching in fall 2026. Families who are curious can attend an info session or book a call with the school before deciding whether to apply, and an application is open for the coming school year.
What to know
- The adults who work with students here are called Guides, not teachers.
- One Guide spent 15 years as a casting director and producer in children’s entertainment.
- Another holds a degree in education and founded a children’s foreign language school.
- That same Guide also owned a tutoring company before joining the school.
- An admission guide, an info packet, and a calendar are published for the 2026/27 year.
