Ajja is Cheetie Kumar and Paul Siler’s neighborhood restaurant in Raleigh’s Five Points, on Bickett Boulevard. The cooking draws on techniques from the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
There is an enclosed patio and a wide lawn, both looking out at the Raleigh skyline, which is a good reason to stay past dinner. The bar pours eclectic signature cocktails and adventurous wines. Ajja was a James Beard Foundation Awards semifinalist in 2024, and Esquire named it one of the Best New Restaurants in America in 2023.
