AC Events Catering is the catering arm of Ashley Christensen Restaurants, the Raleigh restaurant group owned and run by chef Ashley Christensen. The catering side works out of West Hargett Street downtown, and catering is how the group’s food reaches events away from its dining rooms.
Christensen won the James Beard Award for Outstanding Chef in 2019, and in 2014 she was named Best Chef: Southeast. Her kitchens lean on seasonal, locally produced ingredients and close attention to detail. The group includes Poole’s Diner, Death and Taxes and Bridge Club.
