A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater at Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts

The A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater is one of four halls inside the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts, on East South Street in downtown Raleigh. It seats 600, which puts you close to the stage almost anywhere in the room.

Opera, dance and theater all land here, and four resident companies are based on the campus, which keeps the calendar full most of the year. The other three venues under the same roof are Raleigh Memorial Auditorium, Meymandi Concert Hall and Kennedy Theatre, so a night out can mean any one of several rooms.
