13 Tacos & Taps

13 Tacos and Taps is a Mexican restaurant on Shadowlawn Drive in north Raleigh, run by Chef David and his wife Marilyn. It grew out of their food truck, and the menu mixes authentic Mexican cooking with some fusion ideas.

Chef David and Marilyn have spent years in the hospitality business, and he has turned up on local television talking about food and cooking for restaurants he helped launch. The room is small and casual, orders can be placed online, and the restaurant hosts birthday parties and office gatherings.
