Number 1 China Wok is a family-owned Chinese restaurant in the Gateway Commons center off Capital Boulevard in Wake Forest. It has been cooking for the town for close to twenty years.
The menu runs past a hundred items, from starters and soups to the chef’s specials. Those include Seafood Delight, Happy Family, Sesame Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Food comes out fast, which is much of the appeal for families and workers nearby who want dinner without a wait. Dishes come in small and large sizes.
