Oak and Iron Fitness is a coaching gym on Six Forks Road in north Raleigh, north of Strickland Road and about 20 minutes from downtown Wake Forest. Founder Matt Gulliver, a former NC State wrestler, directs training, and the gym has a sister location in Cary.
The gym runs one-on-one personal training, semi-private training and coached group classes named STRENGTH, STEADY, DRIVE and KB STEADY, each in one-hour slots, with a nutrition coach on staff for clients who want food handled too. Matt is ACE certified with Precision Nutrition Level 1, and the roster of about ten coaches includes a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
