Midwood Smokehouse is a barbecue restaurant in the Smoky Hollow development on West Johnson Street, near Peace Street and Glenwood South in downtown Raleigh. It opened in February 2023 as the sixth location of a Charlotte-based restaurant group.
The kitchen smokes USDA Prime brisket, chopped pork, ribs, burnt ends and wings in a single Oyler rotisserie smoker fueled by North Carolina hickory, and it also makes barbecue tacos, quesadillas and bacon-wrapped jalapeños. House sauces are sold by the bottle, there is outdoor seating, and reservations are available.
