Bazil Indian Cuisine

Bazil Indian Cuisine is a family-run Indian restaurant in a shopping center on Glenwood Avenue in Northwest Raleigh, in the area its own site calls Glenwood North. Mother and son Arti and Abhi Kumar opened it in 2022, and Arti Kumar runs the kitchen.

The menu is North Indian at its base, with biryanis, tandoori chicken tikka, grass-fed lamb chops and a vegetarian thali, but it goes further into seafood than most, with spiced octopus, coconut sea bass and a lobster and crab malai tadka. Meat dishes are halal-certified per the menu, and vegetarian and vegan items are marked.
