Black Cap Ginger Brew is a Knightdale-based beverage company built on a family recipe for ginger brew that Mom Freeman had served at weddings, holiday parties, and family gatherings for years. After the family raved about it at Thanksgiving in 2018, she passed on the recipe and her blessing to share it, and in April 2020 the founder crafted a batch, stepped out on faith, and began sharing the drink's benefits on social media under the motto Drink More Ginger.
