About
Black Cap Ginger Brew is a Knightdale beverage company built on a family recipe. Mom Freeman had been making her ginger brew for weddings, holidays and family gatherings for years before anyone thought of selling it.
At Thanksgiving in 2018 the family raved about it, and she handed over the recipe and her blessing to share it. In April 2020 the founder made a batch and stepped out on faith, and the response was strong enough to turn it into a business. Black Cap was established that year.
