About
YATAI is a sushi and ramen counter inside Transfer Co. Food Hall on East Davie Street in downtown Raleigh. WRAL covered its opening in October 2023. Chef Magno Tapia came to it from M Sushi.
The counter advertises sushi, ramen and fish tacos, and a speakeasy bar is attached. Reservations are taken, and the restaurant encourages booking for the bar. Because it sits inside the hall, it keeps hall hours and shares the hall’s parking, which fills on weekend evenings.
