Goodberry’s Frozen Custard – Kildaire Farm
About
Goodberry’s Frozen Custard on Kildaire Farm Road is one of two Goodberry’s shops in Cary. The custard is made fresh in small batches through the day, and the flavor of the day changes according to a published calendar, so regulars know what to expect.
The chain started in 1988 in Raleigh, founded by Harry Brathwaite, who had worked at Brigham’s Ice Cream in Boston. He wanted a frozen dessert made the old way, with honest ingredients and none of the chemical fillers and stabilizers that had crept into the category.
