Applebee’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill (Knightdale)

This is the Knightdale Applebee’s, on Knightdale Boulevard. The menu is the chain’s familiar one, built on burgers, wings, steaks, salads and bar food, and the dining room is set up the way you would expect. Dine-in service runs alongside takeout.

Applebee’s has been putting restaurants in neighborhoods since 1980, and this one has been doing that job in Knightdale. The company’s own line about itself is great food and big smiles, which is a fair summary of what it aims for. Nothing about it is a surprise, and that is the point.
