Triangle Lebanese-American Center
About
The Triangle Lebanese-American Center sits on Horizon Drive in north Raleigh, and it exists to keep Lebanese culture and heritage present in this part of North Carolina. It was started in 1986 by a group of people who cared deeply about Lebanon and wanted a place to share it.
The programs are social and cultural, and they run in both directions, preserving Lebanese traditions while exchanging them with American and other cultures around the Triangle. It is a place to learn about the country as much as a place to celebrate it.
What to know
- An Arabic language school is among the programs run here.
- Lebanese families have been part of North Carolina for more than 120 years.
- Their recipes, crafted across generations, are part of what the center shares.
- Early Lebanese immigrants are credited with building close families and strengthening the state’s economy.
