The Longleaf Lounge is the bar inside The Longleaf Hotel on North Dawson Street, near the western edge of downtown Raleigh. The wine list is the draw here, world-class but approachable, and the cocktail menu covers both the classics and vermouth-based drinks.
There is a private patio, which makes it as good for a coffee in the morning as for a drink at the end of the day. Bar snacks are available if you want something to eat without moving on to a proper restaurant meal.
