The Loading Dock

The Loading Dock is a coworking company on East Whitaker Mill Road in Raleigh, with three locations across Raleigh and Wake Forest. Members rent private offices, desk space, small warehouse units or just a mailbox.

The idea is a professional home office away from home, and the spaces are set up for people who actually work in them: e-commerce sellers, freelancers, creatives and remote employees. Meeting rooms, phone booths and bookable conference space are part of the deal, so a call does not have to happen in a corridor.

• The flagship campus, Dock 1053, opened in 1955 as an A&P distribution facility.
• Dedicated mailboxes are available as a standalone membership without desk space.
