The Justice Theater Project
About
The Justice Theater Project is a Raleigh theater company based on Brownleigh Drive, and its productions deal with social concerns head on. Plays are chosen to start conversations in the community, and the company has worked that way from the start.
It began in 2004, when members of the St. Francis of Assisi community staged a play to speak up for people facing the death penalty. What was meant as one performance grew into something permanent, and the theater now presents a full season each year.
