The Cardinal Singers
About
The Cardinal Singers are a volunteer treble chorus that performs around Raleigh and Wake County. They sing at senior living communities, at clubs and at public events, going out to the audience instead of asking the audience to come to them.
Their stated mission is to lift spirits, celebrate life and connect with audiences and with each other through music. It is a community chorus in the plainest sense: people who turn up and sing because they want to, and the group has been part of Raleigh’s volunteer life for years.
What to know
- The group received the City of Raleigh’s Fred Fletcher Outstanding Volunteer Award of Excellence in 2008.
- A City of Raleigh Arts Commission grant supports the 2025-2026 season.
- The chorus also received a United Arts Council grant for that same season.
