Talley Student Union
About
Talley Student Union is the hub of student life on NC State’s campus, at Cates Avenue in Raleigh. The building holds dining, lounge, and meeting venues, recreational areas, offices for student organizations and student government, a two-level student store, and a great lawn.
The grand ballroom is the largest space, with room for up to 1,200 guests, and the building carries advanced technology throughout. It is named for Talley, a former vice chancellor of student affairs who helped merge NC State’s agricultural and engineering history with the arts.
